Mentoring

This is an intervention that can be carried out in the home of a young person or within the community by our experienced and committed team of mentors. We will meet with young people through the family, build rapport and trust whilst making an assessment of underlying causes of non-engagement. We will build an 'independent' working relationship with a young person, be an emotionally available adult, and partner with a young person and their family to develop an action plan.

Our whole mentoring approach is about empowering young people and their families for the long term. Whilst this is a short-term intervention, our approach will give tools that can be used way beyond our involvement.
